5 Ways exercise can make you a better Parent!

Everyone seems to know that exercise is fantastic for you but sometimes that just isn't enough to get you off your couch. Maybe these reasons will finally get you to do one squat while you watch ferret videos.

1.Children learn by example more than they do from what you tell them. If they see you enjoying exercise regularly they will attempt to make it a part of their life too. Once learned at a young age they will never let go of it. Isn't good health one of the best gifts you could give to your child?

2. Exercise reduces stress levels which helps you regulate your emotions. Raising children is a huge task and it is something you need to do for the rest of your life. No one has it easy in this journey and we owe it to our children to give them the best version of ourselves as much as we can.

3. Exercising regularly improves your immunity which means you will have a lower chance of spreading infections around at home. Being sick less means you have more energy to show up for your child the best way you can.

4. Exercising has been scientifically proven to boost brain health which means better productivity and creativity which means you have the ability to teach your child more things and create an environment of success for them.

5. Exercise is self-care. If we don't take care of ourselves we will most definitely not be able to take care of our kids. Parents often realize this too late and by then the damage is already done. 30 minutes of exercise a day will take away a very small amount of time with your child but it'll dramatically improve the quality of your remaining time with them.

Still not convinced? I knew you wouldn't be. Stay tuned for more in this series of ways you can use exercise to work for you and not the other way around. Hopefully, something will convince you to email me for an exercise program.
